Director of Client Services
Beth Duke, director of client services, manages Clinix’ client service team, which includes the implementation department and support team. Prior to her appointment as director, Beth worked for nearly a decade serving Clinix clients in various roles on the client service team. Thanks to 20+ years in the medical billing industry—her family’s business and her career since receiving her B.S. in business administration from Tennessee Technological University in 1996—Duke is the go-to expert for a multitude of Clinix team members and clients in a variety of specialties.
Outside of Clinix, Duke has worked in virtually all billing roles, from front desk receptionist and data entry to lead trainer of software and collection department supervisor. Her arsenal of hands-on experience and understanding of what it takes keep any medical office running smoothly makes her an invaluable resource for Clinix clients.
Chief Technology Officer
Henry Johnson is Chief Technology Officer at Clinix. He will be completing 20 years of service with the company this year. He is responsible for researching, developing plans, and implementing technology initiatives within the organization. He maintains the existing enterprise system, while providing direction in all technology-related issues in support of information operations and core company values. Prior to joining Clinix in 1997 he worked in several companies mostly as a technical consultant at Pepsico Inc, Malaysia Ministry of Defense, Changi Airport, Indian Railways, HCL Consulting & Taj Palace Intercontinental hotels. Henry has both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees of Computer Applications from St. Joseph’s College, India. He also holds an IT Business Manager Certification – Belmont University and MDE Enterprises.
Director, System Administration
Tony Cocke, Director of System Administration, holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Sciences. He has been with Clinix since 1979 in the Paducah, Kentucky, office. Tony has an extended tenure in multiple departments including Operations, Network Management, Database Administration, and Technical Support (sometimes simultaneously). He has completed multiple courses in support of the various hardware and application software systems utilized over the years, currently specializing in Linux and Oracle platforms.
Director, Product Development
Patrick Sun, Director of Product Development, has 18 years of information technology and healthcare experience. He has strong product development, project management, and business analysis skills. Patrick also has experience in QA testing, UX/UI design, Agile, and technical writing. Patrick has a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Tennessee Tech University. He holds the following certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Product Manager – Pragmatic Marketing – PMC-III, Network +, & A+ certifications. Patrick has been with Clinix since 2014. As the Director of Product Development, his main goal is to help develop and execute the strategic vision for enterprise products and operate at the intersection of the product’s user experience, technology, and core business value. Previously he’s held positions as a Business Analyst, Product Manager, Application Engineer, and IT consultant. He also is active in professional and trade organizations .
Director, Computer Operations
Danny Miller, Director of Computer Operations, has been with Clinix for 22 years. He holds a Linux Certification and has a vast array of experience with various computer operating systems. Danny began working with the company as a Computer Operator and advanced through the years to Director of Operations and General Manager of Paducah, Kentucky office. His operational tasks include transmits to insurance carriers, downloads from hospital systems, job scheduling, system monitoring, problem reporting and follow-up, batch script maintenance, report and form printing and shipping, and operational documentation.
Ann Utley, Director of Programming, manages the ClinixPM team of developers in the Paducah, Kentucky, office where she has been for almost 20 years. She provides technical direction to her team for the development, design and systems integration from definition phase through implementation. Ann works with Client Services and Product Development to meet the needs of Clinix’ customers. Before accepting the position of director in 2016, she was a Senior Developer, with over 20 years of programming experience in healthcare technology.
Principal Enterprise Architect
Mauna K. Barrett, Principal Enterprise Architect, manages both .NET and BizTalk development groups using an Agile software development methodology, and her team maintains environments and systems deployed both on-premise and in Azure. She maintains knowledge of current and emerging technologies, products, trends, frameworks, and patterns. Utilizing her broad technical knowledge she collaborates with vendors, clients, and internal business stake holders to translate customer requirements into reusable technical solutions. She oversees the creation of solution and system architectures for the .NET development team and provides architectural guidance across the company.
